Sleeping Patterns.

A project I worked on a few months ago with a friend, Mitch Fraser.

He wrote the lyrics and we both worked on the song.

Enjoy 🙂

ARCTIC MONKEYS

Hey! Sorry about the delay seeing I saw this gig 13 days ago…been super busy working.
Anyway the Arctic Monkeys were beyond amazing to see live. They played at Festival Hall and we were in the seated section, to the left of the stage so we could see the sound techs and everyone being super busy while the bands played.

The night opened with a Brisbane band called Violent Soho. They weren’t my cup of tea, a bit too heavy for my liking but they were good live none the less.

The second act to play was Miles Kane. I hadn’t heard of him until I read on the ticket he was touring with the Arctic Monkeys and didn’t think to check him out before going to the show but he was impressive. Very similar to the Arctic Monkeys but I liked it, I bought his album the other day on iTunes. He got all the audience involved and really pumped and excited for the Monkeys to come out.

Finally the Arctic Monkeys. Alex Turner sounded perfect as usual and all together they put on a great show.  They played most of their new songs opening their set with ‘Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair’ but didn’t forget their classics like ‘Brianstorm’ and ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’.

Sitting where we were we could see the front of the mosh pit and there were people getting pulled out all the time, there wasn’t a time were the security wasn’t trying to rip someone out of the crowd. It was crazy and made me feel very pleased about buying seated tickets. Ha

Overall an amazing gig and I will definitely be going to see them again next time they come out!
